They are like li'l packets of energy
that pull you through..
They are these quanta of happiness
that make your very essense come true...
These small moments
make your whole life worthwhile..
And only these moments
can let you die with a smile...
Whether its that li'l baby in the pram..
happy to see a complete stranger like you,excited innocent & toothless..
Or that old man in the bus..
Smiling at you for picking up his coin,grateful & selfless..
Be it the love n warmth of your mom's touch..
when she wakes you up in the morning..
Or your kid sister..
Snuggles up to you,after a nightmare,scared n scorning...
After after a tiring day..
You come back to have a hot cuppa 'chai',with 4 Parle G's...
Or when the power goes off ..
You sit in the gallery,listening to songs..the night dark n the calm,cool breeze..
And, of course when your crush calls you up...'aise hi'..
Oh!One day before the exam,you sing a thousand songs with your sister....'Tumse hi.....'..
That unknown hand to hold you from falling in the crowded local..
Or that appreciative nod from your music teacher for your vocal...
Oh!!!I could go on and on..
There have been big times as well...
When I got immense happiness..
When I won a competition..
When my sis came 1st in swimming,no less...
But, these little wonders..
I cherish more than anything..
'Cos, even though they arent the milestones in my life..
They somehow define it....as well as my being...
